Both her fibula were present, however not weight bearing and thus not really useful.  Encouraged and supported by her  family and friends, she  was confidently walking on above knee prosthesis (without any aids) by the time she  reached high school. Her prosthesis had given her the chance to lead a normal and happy life. However, they have limited her ability to participate in some physical activities and it’s been a challenge to maintain and improve her  fitness on her everyday legs. Sara's  ‘sporting dream’ is to be able to participate in a range of sports activities. As well as group fitness (with family and friends) mher  aim is to enter and complete either the 10km Bridge to Brisbane walk, or the 14 km Sydney City to Surf - maybe even both? Sara's full time employment is  now if the filed of  Learning and Development .  She has both a personal and professional understanding of how collaboration and teamwork are skills that enable us to achieve our goals. "Having attended numerous networking events, I have found that the events I enjoyed the most have been where I come away feeling I have learnt something, connected with like-minded people and felt I have not wasted my time. This is an opportunity for all business owners (both men and women). There is so much knowledge and experience to share! With our events, it does not matter if you know very few people, or are new to networking, or find it overwhelming as with the format we have created, and it is easy to have a good conversation where everyone is involved and makes new connections. Our events ran throughout the year, and we look forward to connecting more business owners and helping them find the opportunities that will assist them to achieve their desired outcomes. Our events are not only insightful, but fun! Look forward to meeting you...remember to come prepared with lots of business cards!
