      Drug Policy Australia invites you to hear international bestselling author Antony Loewenstein speak at the Melbourne Town Hall to launch his new book, Pills, Powder, and Smoke: Inside the Bloody War on Drugs.

      He is joined by ABC Radio talkback host Jon Faine and an expert panel of community leaders and public figures, for a roundtable discussion about the future of drug policy. Hear from panellists, Julian Burnside, Fiona Patten, Mick Palmer, Tania de Jong, Laura Turner, Greg Burns and Antony Loewenstein.

      Guest Speakers:
      Antony Loewenstein, the internationally bestselling author, will speak about legalising and regulating drugs, the premise of his new book, Pills, Powder, and Smoke: Inside the Bloody War on Drugs.

      Laura Turner, Senior Channel Nine award-winning journalist, will tell her story of personal loss due to the war on drugs.

      There will also be audience Q&A, book sales, book signing and information tables from Australia’s leading alcohol and other drug NGO's including the Alcohol and Drug Foundation, Family Drug Support, First Step, Mind Medicine Australia, Odyssey House, Thorne Harbour Health and Harm Reduction Australia.
