      EVENT DETAILS
      The Big HOO-HAA! Melbourne

Fast, furious and funny, The Big HOO-HAA! is Melbourne's longest-running and best-loved weekly impro comedy show. Starring a who's who of Melbourne's finest comedians, every Friday night The Big HOO-HAA! ensemble dazzles audiences with its unique brand of high-octane impro, killer punchlines and sizzling (and occasionally fizzling) one-liners. Hosted by The Butterfly Club in the heart of Melbourne's CBD, two teams, the Hearts and the Bones, battle for comedic supremacy before your very eyes, armed with only audience suggestions and a handful of props as they leave no song unsung, no joke undelivered and no pun unpunished in their mad dash for the punchline. The Butterfly Club's award winning foyer bar opens at 5pm, show starts at 8pm sharp. FAQs   Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? The Butterfly Club is a licensed venue. Accordingly, patrons under 18 are only allowed on premises in the company of a parent or legal guardian.   What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event? We strongly encourage using public transport. The Butterfly Club is a short stroll from Flinders Street station and Melbourne Central, and an even shorter stroll from any tram that travels through Swanston or Collins Streets (get off at Town Hall). If driving, you can find the best parking rates in the area by visiting carparking.info (link opens in a new window).   How can I contact the venue with any questions? Please call The Butterfly Club on 03 9663 8107 or visit our box office (the first room as you enter the Club) from 5pm to 8:30pm Monday to Saturday.   What's the refund policy? There are no refunds or exchanges. Exceptions are made in extraordinary circumstances at the Club's discretion: if there is a sensible reason why you should receive a refund, please contact us and we'll be happy to discuss.   Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No. We have a full record of all attendees and will be able to let you in whether you bring a printed copy of your ticket or not.   Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? Yes.
