      Youth Mental Health First Aid - Sunbury Community Health

      Sunbury Community Health is very pleased to offer the accredited Youth Mental Health First Aid Training to Sunbury Community Health Staff. The 14 hour Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Course teaches adults (18 years and over) how to provide initial support to adolescents who are developing a mental illness or experiencing a mental health crisis. Course participants will learn the signs and symptoms of some common mental health problems, where and how to get help and what sort of help has been shown by research to be effective. Certificates will only be issued upon the completion of the 4 sessions and meeting the requirements of the course. Dates: 14th, 21st, January and 4th and 11th February (Attendance at all four sessions is required to complete the course) Time: 9:00 am– 12.30 pm Venue: Lotherington Rooms, Sunbury Community Health,12-28 Macedon St. Sunbury Cost: No Cost.
