      Public Lecture for the Day Of Immunology: An ABC of Childhood Immunity - Allergy, Bugs, and Cancer

      Learn more about your immune system and why it is important during health and disease. This year we are hosting a public lecture on "An ABC of Childhood Immunity: Allergy, Bugs, and Cancer”.

      This is a free event.

      The lecture will be introduced and chaired by Associate Professor Sammy Bedoui, Department of Microbiology and Immunology, University of Melbourne, Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunology; and the topic will be discussed by three of Australia’s top immunologists.
      - Professor Mimi Tang, Murdoch Children's Research Institute, on Allergy.
      -Professor Benjamin Marsland, Department of Immunology and Pathology, Monash University, on Bugs.
      - Dr Misty Jenkins, Walter and Eliza Hall Institute, on Cancer.

      The public lecture will be followed by a Q&A session and refreshments.
