      EVENT DETAILS
La Trobe Institute of Molecular Science Day of Immunology Discovery Tour

The La Trobe Institute for Molecular Science (LIMS), a La Trobe University-embedded molecular research institute, is committed to solving global problems and improving the welfare of human societies. The Institute's research is supported by a state-of-the-art facility where scientists from different disciplines work together to achieve research outcomes.

In celebration of "Day of Immunology", this year, we would like to invite you to join us on a public 2-hour Research Tour, featuring a public lecture, a case study, research demonstration, and building tour. You will be taken on a research journey throughout LIMS to explore cell death, its link to diseases such as cancer and infection, how we can study it and how this understanding overall leads to the development of new disease therapeutics. You will be given opportunities to have hands-on experience on our latest equipment and laboratory techniques.

We also provide a 30-minute guided Facility Tour for those who would like to have a closer view at our world-class building and facility, starting from 11:30 pm.

Everyone is welcomed. Book now to avoid disappointment as limited spots are avalable for each tour.

Please only pick either Research Tour or Facility tour per guest, as these tours will be running simultaneously.

Refresments are provided at the end of the tours.
